Funeral of Late Mrs. S. Bessey
The funeral of the late Mrs. Susan Bessey of Shisler's Point, who died last week of Bright's disease, was held last Sunday afternoon in the Mennonite church and was largely attended as deceased was an old resident and had many friends.
The services were conducted by the pastor of the Free Methodist church, Ridgeway. Her sons, Levi of Tonawanda, Wm. of Northwest, and Bert of Welland, were present besides many other relatives and friends who paid their last regards to the departed in this way.
Interment took place in Shisler's cemetery. Undertaker Wichmann of Humberstone had charge of the funeral.

Marriage 2: abt 1908 to LORENZO DUDLEY BESSEY.
It should be noted that Lorenzo Bessey was previously married to Susan's daughter (Susan Emeline Acker/Ecker). After his first wife's death Lorenzo married her widowed mother.
