Mrs. Frank R. Reed
Carsonville Mrs. Frank R. Reed, 78, a native of the Applegate community, died today in the home of a son, Lowell R. Reed, Charlotte, Mich. She and her late husband lived many years in the Carsonville community.
Mrs. Reed was born in Applegate, October 30, 1878, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William H. Ennest. She was married to Mr.Reed, then a Carsonville realtor, Feb.19, 1903.
She had lived with her children since the death of her husband.
Surviving in addition to Lowell another son, Elwin M. Reed, Battle Creek: four grandchildren, three brothers, Myron Ennest, Minden City; Ralph Ennest, St. Clair; and Harley Ennest, Posen, MIch, and a sister Mrs. Norval Young, Detroit.
The body will be brought to Jewell Funeral Home, Carsonville, for funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Monday [Dec 24]. Rev James Lees, pastor, will officiate, and burial will be in Washington Cemetery, Carsonville.
