June Pauline Combs, 88, died Sunday, August 25, 2013 at her home near Arlington, Kansas. She was born June 12, 1925 in Arlington, KS, the daughter of Ernest and Ruth Ester Massow. She was a homemaker and truely enjoyed the outdoors.
In 1948 she married Marion B. Combs who shared her love for horses. He died February 9, 2001.
She is survived by her five children Beth Pierson, Arlington, KS; Sue (Wilbur) Redd, Hutchinson, KS; Nancy Branscom, Arlington, KS; Ernie (Julie) Combs, Nickerson, KS; and Marion Allen Combs, Arlington, KS; 7 Grandchildren, Chad Pierson, Inman, KS; Cody (Chrisi) Pierson, Salina, KS; Mandy Branscom Ward, Arlington, KS; Jessica (Adam) Pickett, Arlington, KS; Justin Combs, Arlington, KS; Kylie Combs, Arlington, KS; and Kaylie Combs, Nickerson, KS; 8 Great-Grandchildren, Sam & Sophie, Kourtney, Aiden, Lynnzey, and Loo, Kinzley and Zayne, and her friend and companion Scooter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister Dorothy Freeman.
Cremation has taken place. No Service has been scheduled.
