Wendell Marsh, 60 of Forsyth passed away Monday, August 19, 2013 at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on April 12, 1953 at Waverly, Iowa the son of Doug and Norma (Lindaman) Marsh. Wendell graduated in 1972 from Shell Rock High, Waverly, IA. He married Melody Iserman on November 9, 1974. He was a volunteer Firefighter for ten years. He worked for the City of Waverly, in the Water Department, and Superintendent for the City of Shell Rock, IA. Wendell and his family moved to Forsyth in 1989, he worked for the City of Hollister, till 1992. He became partners with his father and brother in Circle M Electric; and in 2002 he became self-employed as an electrician until 2006 when he became disabled.
Wendell was a member of the Bryant Ridge Church at Taneyville, lifetime member of the Forsyth Bass Club. Wendell loved the Lord, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, woodworking and fishing.
Survivors include his wife Melody of the home; daughter Susan and friend Joe Carcione of Ocala, Florida; son Paul and wife Dana of Forsyth; his mother Norma Marsh of Branson; a brother Kevin and his wife Sandy Marsh of Cedar Creek, Mo; five grandchildren: Joey, Jayla, Haylee, Devon and Isabelle.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
