PURPLE HEART
His hands were small but they were strong. They were rough and callous from many years working in the fields; building and repairing things when needed, but those same hands were also gentle and comforting, while carrying strangers to safety, when daughter's hearts were broken and tears fell. They guided us , held us, disciplined us, and protected us. But today he walks hand in hand with our Lord in heaven being guided and protected, as he did so well for others while here on earth.
