MRS. MARY ARNOLD MENTZER, widow of Samuel Mentzer, of near Burkittsville, died Saturday morning of complications at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Merriman, Knoxville, aged 82 years. She was a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Boyer Arnold. Besides her daughter, Mrs. Merriman, she is survived by two sons, Samuel and Arnold Mentzer, both of York, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Amanda Huffer, near Middletown, and a brother, H.U. Arnold, Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

The body was at the home of Mrs. Merriman and was moved to the Locust Valley Church of God for services; interment was in the Locust Valley cemetery; arrangements were handled by the Gladhill Funeral Company.
