L.W. Arnold, a native of Brownsville, Washington County, but for the past several years has resided in Washington, D.C. died at his late home in Washington Sunday night. He was a former resident of Brunswick, this county, having lived here prior to his going to Washington, and was well known there.

Surviving are his widow, who, before her marriage, was Miss Elizabeth Miller, Brunswick; three brothers and four sisters, as follows: Calvin, of Gapland; Urner, of Great Capon, W.Va., Elmer, of Augusta; Mrs. Oliver Hufer, Broad Run; Mrs. Samuel Mentzer, Burkittsville; Mrs. Geo West of Weaverton, and Misses Anna and Emma, of Gapland.

His remains were taken to Brunswick where the funeral took place upon the arrival of the train bearing his body, conducted by Rev. E.E. Burgess, of St. Marks Parish. Interment was made in Park Heights cemetery.

Funeral services at the home, 3907 Michigan Avenue, Brookland, Tuesday, November 14, at 3 p.m. Interment Brunswick, Md.
