Lovina Lowe Daniel was the daughter of Benjamin and Caroline (Wait) Lowe. She married John Daniel December 1, 1844 in Parke County, Indiana, and together they had thirteen children. Lovina and John lived in the area in which they were buried. Lovina moved after John died and lived with family until her death in 1915, dying in Altamont, Kansas of a stroke. Her body was removed after a brief memorial service, and then transferred to Oklahoma to be beside her husband of 65 years.
