Mrs. Sara Grantham Veal, age 93 of Sarasota, FL formerly of Douglas, passed away late Friday night at Brookdale Palmer Assisted Living following an extended illness. Mrs. Veal was born August 13, 1926 to the late Dewey Wesley Grantham and the late Mary Ellen Holland Grantham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Franklin Veal.

The graveside service and interment was held Friday morning, May 29, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Douglas City Cemetery with Rev. Howard Holt officiating.
