GRAY -- Norman L. Dolloff, 64, died Monday at a Portland hospital following a long illness.
He was born in Gray, Nov. 3, 1912, the son of Harry and Lois Libby Dolloff. He attended Gray schools and was graduated from Pennell Institute in 1931.
He had been employed by the town of Gray for 21 years in various positions as town clerk, treasurer, tax collector and more recently as town manager. Mr. Dolloff had been employed with the Hancock Lumber Company in Gray, prior to his last illness.
Mr. Dolloff had been a past master of Gray Grange, member of the Gray Fire Department, and the Maine Municipal Clerks Association. He attended the Congregational Church. He married the former Winona Britt on June 30, 1946.
