GRAY -- Mrs. Lois Libby Dolloff, 79, died Saturday at a Yarmouth nursing home after several months' illness. She was the mother of Maynard Dolloff, master of the State Grange.

She was born Nov. 29, 1881. at South Gray, daughter of James P. and Jeanette Small Libby. She was graduated from Pennell Institute and had taught in North Yarmouth and Gray schools.

May 23, 1908, she married Harry Dolloff, of North Yarmouth, and the couple moved to Gray, where they spent their entire married life. He died in 1957.

Mrs. Dolloff was a former member of the Gray Congregational Church and its Ladies Circle, a golden sheaf member and past master of Gray Grange, member of Cumberland County Pomona and of the state and national Granges. She also was a member and past chairman of Gray Extension.

Besides her son, Maynard, of Augusta, she also is survived by another son, Norman, town clerk of Gray; a daughter, Mrs. Abby Semmes, of North Yarmouth: a brother, Clifford S. Libby, of Bangor; eight grand-children, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m, Tuesday at the local funeral home, Rev. Chauncey Harding of Gray and Portland officiating. Interment Will in Gray Village Cemetery.
