Apple River, Ill. Feb. 22- Mrs. Annie Elizabeth White, 74, life long resident of Apple River, died last night about 11 pm at the home of her sister, Mrs. Phoebe Tresdel of Shullsburg, Wis., with whom she had been visiting because the latter's husband died a short time ago.
Mrs. White was born in New Diggings, Wis., and was the daughter of James and Hannah Vipond.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Kent of Warren and Mrs. Clyde Grindey of Apple River, one son, Wilfred of Dubuque, Ia., and one adopted son, Marion K. White of Dubuque. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ambrose, who died in 1927, one daughter, one son, and one sister.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 pm in the Apple River Methodist church with Rev. Ira Sherman officiating. Interment will be in Highland West Ella cemetery. The body will remain at Warren until Thursday noon.
