Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Calexico for Alicia Armenta Tirado, 73, of Calexico, who died Wednesday in El Centro Regional Medical Center. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m.

Mass will be celebrated at noon Monday in the church. The Rev. Barry Vinyard of Imperial Valley Catholic Chaplaincy will officiate.

Burial will be Mountain View Cemetery in Calexico.

Mrs. Tirado was born Aug. 23, 1930, in Ajo, Ariz., and was raised in Calexico.

She married Tony P. Tirado in Calexico on May 23, 1955.

According to family, Mrs. Tirado was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and especially enjoyed traveling with her husband, children and grandchildren, family said.

Survivors include her husband, Tony P. Tirado of Calexico; sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Yolanda Tirado, Danny and Gaby Tirado, Michael and Veronica Tirado and David and Veronica Tirado, all of Calexico; son, Steven Tirado of Calexico; mother, Magdalena Armenta of Calexico; brother, Arturo Armenta of La Habra; sister, Minerva Armenta of Santa Ana; grandchildren, Daniela, Daniel Alex, Alyssa, Michael Anthony and Marshal Tirado, all of Calexico; and numerous nieces and nephews.
