Mr. Adams was born in Heard County, Ga., on July 22, 1943 to the late Anice Adams and Maude Street Adams. He was a self-employed Wholesale Produce Merchandiser. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and served his country faithfully in the United States Army. He was a loving husband and father and will be greatly missed.
Funeral services for Mr. Adams will be Monday, Aug. 25, 2003, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Tom Stutts and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Whittenburger officiating. Interment will follow in the Centralhatchee Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife Carmen Louise Adams; son Ken Adams; grandson Cameron Adams all of Riverdale, Ga.; five sisters Nina Bussey of Franklin, Ga., Vautell Robinson of Breman, Ga., Bobbie Jean McOwen of Arizona, Jane Dean of Roopville, Ga., and Niner Spradlin of Roanoke, Ga.
