Rosalie Rowden was born May 28, 1928 to J. B. and Jewel (Richardson) Worley in Kelton, Texas. She attended Erick Schools. She married Henry C . Fikes on October 2, 1943 in Erick, Oklahoma and from this union four children were born. She was a member of the Duke First Baptist Church and was an interior decorator. She was also a restaurant owner and a Director of the Senior Meal Site in Duke. She later married Thomas Lee Rowden on September 10, 1970 in Oklahoma City. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, J. B. and Jewel Worley; two brothers, J. C. Worley and Denton Worley; two husbands, Henry C. Fikes and Thomas Rowden; one daughter, Linda Fern Reynolds, one son, Ewell Gean Fikes; a sister Glenda Taylor and three great-grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Rick Carter of Duke, Oklahoma; one son and daughter-in-law, Cleve J. and Charlotte Fikes of Hampton, Virginia; one sister Marie Dodson of Elk City, Oklahoma; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and loving neighbors and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Kincannon Funeral Home.
