Mrs. Edith C. Seibert, 78, a former resident of Massillon and Beach City, died Monday morning in the Colvin Nursing Home in Newton Falls after an illness of two years.
Mrs. Seibert was a daughter of the late Edwin and Katherine Goettge Schreiner of Gilmore.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Velma Kaser of Cleveland, Mrs. Howard Domer of Strasburg and Mrs. Don Carpenter of Massillon; two sons, Herman Seibert of Wyoming and Roger Seibert of Colorado; three sisters, Mrs. Roy Merkel of Newton Falls, Mrs. Fred Miller of Port Washington and Mrs. Elda Goettge of Columbus; a brother, Karol Schreiner of Gnadenhutten; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 pm in the Desvoignes-Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton with the Rev. Otto R. Gerber, D.D., former pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ Massillon, officiating. Interment will be made in Greenlawn Cemetery at Wilmot.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 7 to 9
