Ocie Thomas "O.T." Pippin, 85, of Chula died Tuesday, February 27, 2007, at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2007, in Oak Ridge Cemetery. B Duncan, Th.D., will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Pippin was born on May 9, 1921 in Tift County and was the son of William Bailey Pippin and Alice Whittington Pippin, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Ann Fincham; and one granddaughter, Kerri Gibbs. He was a retired farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church in Chula. He had lived in Tift County all of his life.
