He was born on September 8, 1871 at Danvers, Illinois a son of Joseph S. and Jacobina Phoebe Stuckey Augspurger.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday (December 2, 1952) at Beck Memorial home with burial at Troyer Cemetery in Carlock, Illinois.

He married Kate Troyer on February 9, 1902 in Hudson, Illinois. They lived in Downs, Illinois until 32 years ago when the moved to Bloomington, Illinois.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Mae LaDue of Bloomington, Illinois; two sons, Glenn W. Augspurger and Wilbur L. Augspurger both of Peoria, Illinois; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Stuckey and Miss Matilda Augspurger both of Danvers, Illinois; five brothers, Ora Augspurger of Bloomington, Illinois; Rufus Augspurger of Carlock, Illinois; Joseph Augspurger of Chenoa, Illinois; Emanuel Augspurger of Meadows, Illinois; and Harvey Augspurger of Jamestown, North Dakota; and three grandchildren.

One son preceded him in death.

He was a member of the First Mennonite Church of Normal, Illinois.
