From an unnamed and undated obituary: 'Mrs. Loyce Ingram of Powderly died Tuesday, Jan. 12, at Seadrift [Port Lavaca?], TX. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at the Gospel Lighthouse Church, Powderly, with the Rev. James Sparks and the Rev. Jim Young officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home and burial was in Red Hill Cemetery. Friends called on the family from 7 until 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15 at the funeral home. Mrs. Ingram was born July 29, 1907, in Vivian, LA, a daughter of James M. Paris and Mary Louise Hatcher Paris. She married Lenward M. Ingram on Aug. 31, 1922 in Antlers, OK. He died Dec. 16, 1980. Survivors are four sons, Sam Ingram of Mesquite, Jack Ingram of Powderly, Wayne Ingram of Powderly and James Ingram of Roanoke, TX; six daughters, Mrs. Willie Faye Johns of Powderly, Mrs. Ida B. Robertson of Dallas, Mrs. Janie L. Medders of Reno, Mrs. Winnie L. Whitson of Seadrift, and Mrs. Beulah Mae Kohorst of Dallas; two brothers, Clyde Paris of Fort Worth and Pete Paris of Lawton, OK; 34 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.'
