Born May 13, 1916, in Lafayette, she was a graduate of Monitor High School and a life resident of this area. She married Lewis W. "Bill" Jones on June 7, 1958, in Lafayette; he died Jan. 11, 1984. Surviving is a daughter, Rhonda (Mrs. John A.) Lakin of Lafayette, and two grandchildren.
