Nick was born on Christmas day in 1934 in Lander.
Nick married the love of his life, Leona Mae Stanush, on Sept. 1, 1962, in San Antonio.
While working for the state of Wyoming, Nick saw an opportunity to start a new business. Nick started the Gill Window Company in 1988, where he and his sons manufactured and installed vinyl windows. His sons took over the business when he retired in 2002.
Nick's family was his passion; he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Genevieve Gill; his son, Kevin Joseph Gill, in 2009; brothers, Frank, Ted, Jim, Tom and Joe; and sisters, Mary Schum and Patricia Norris.
Nick is survived by his wife, Leona; children, Mary Jane "Missy" Gill of Pflugerville, Texas, and Mike Gill (Michelle Boltz) of Cheyenne; sister, Joanne Bogus of Cheyenne; grandchildren, Clancy and Alexandra Gill of Laramie; and many more loving family and friends.
