Ephraim G. Hoover

Ephraim G. Hoover, aged 69 years, of 123 West Euclid avenue, died in Jameson Memorial Hospital, Monday afternoon, following an illness.

Mr. Hoover was born in Hoover Heights, January 10, 1879, a son of Willis and Catherine Berkart Hoover. He lived here all his life and was a roller for 47 years at Shenango Tin Mill. He was a member of the Highland U.P. church, and Eagles Lodge No. 455.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Grace A. Lang Hoover; and children, Clarence F. Hoover of Nashville, Tenn.; Dorothy back of this city, Katherine Kneram, Portersville; Eloise Bentel, Ellwood City; Ardell Lane of Chicago, Ill. He leaves two sisters, Ella H. Broon, El Monte, Calif., and Mrs. Rea Pugh, Youngstown, O., and 12 grandchildren.

Mr. Hoover was preceded in death by a son, Robert, on July 3, 1927.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the Joseph B. Leyde mortuary, Highland at Winter, Rev. D.J. Ferguson, in charge. Burial will be in Oak Park cemetery.

The Eagles Lodge No. 455 is conducting services tonight at 5 o'clock at the funeral home.

The family will receive friends this evening at the mortuary, 7 to 9 o'clock and Wednesday, 2 to 4, and 7 to 9 o'clock.
