Mrs. Annie P. Hodges, age 94, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, passed away Saturday morning, February 8, 2003, at Walton county Convalescent Center.
Mrs. Hodges was born on May 21, 1908, in Westville, Florida. After marriage, she moved to DeFuniak Springs and spent the rest of her life there. She was homemaker and faithful member of the First Baptist Church of DeFuniak Springs.
Mrs. Hodges was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Hodges; one son, Jerry Hodges, and one grandson, Hal Hodges.
Mrs. Hodges is survived by four daughters in DeFuniak Springs, June Adair, Sally Bruner and husband Granger, Mary Sue DeShazo and husband Teddy, and Jackie Fentress; daughter-in-law Carol Ann Hodges; ten grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: February 10, 2003, in the First Baptist Church of DeFuniak Springs, with Reverend Jerry Chumley officiating. Private family graveside services followed in Magnolia Cemetery.
Clary-Godwin-Comander Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
