Obituary, Mary Alice Friedman
Mary Alice Friedman, age 67, of Canton, died Friday afternoon at Mercy Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Canton to the late Leo and Helen Friedman and had been a secretary at Liquid Carbonics. She was a 1950 graduate of Timken High School, a member of Timken High School Alumni, St. Peter's Catholic Church, and the St. Peter's Ladies Guild/ Woman's Club.
She is survived by brothers and sister-in-law, Thomas J Friedman, of the home, Richard L, and Wanda Friedman, of Canton, two nephews, one niece, three great-nephews, and two great nieces.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Msgr. John C Finnigan as celebrant, Burial in St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 6-9 p.m. at the Wackerly Furnal Home. The St. Peter's Ladies Guild/Woman's Club will hold a parish wake service at 5:45 p.m. Donations may be made be made to the Kidney Foundation of Ohio, Stark County c/o Community Dialysis Unit, 4685 Fulton Rd.
