Veteran of the American Revolution -- ensign in Capt. Gallop's company, 1776. He was killed at Ft Griswold.

He married Deborah Avery on Nov 14,1765 at Groton,CT.

Children: Daniel Avery Jr, Elias Avery, Dudley Avery, Isaac Avery, Deborah Avery Avery, Latham Avery, Rachel Avery Foote, and Abel Avery.

Veteran of the American Revolution -- ensign in Capt. Gallop's company, 1776. He was killed at Ft Griswold.
