Dale Farr, 78, was found dead at home, 701 Market Street, Tuesday, July 8. Deputy Montgomery County Medical Examiner, Dr. James Shehan said dead was the result of an apparent heart attack and occurred that day.
Dr. Shehan said Farr had been in declining health for some time. He was a retired 48 year employe of the Thos. D. Murphy Company.
Graveside services wil be Friday, July 11, at 10 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Byron Paxton officiating. Arrangements are by Sellergren-Lindell Funeral Home.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Farr, he was born February 21, 1902 in Lorimor, Iowa.
Surviving are a brother, Virgil D. and sister, Linda Smithy, both of Red Oak.
