Mrs. Nancy Carpenter Davis, wife of Dennison B. Davis, died at her home in the northwestern part of this town on Saturday morning from pneumonia, aged 69 years, 4 months. The deceased possessed a most lovable character and as mother, friend and neighbor was held in high esteem. She is survived by her husband and six children, Carlton A. of this village; Fred G., with whom she lived; Mrs. Carrie Preston of Livonia, Mrs. J. H. Depew of Los Angeles, Cal.; Mrs. George McMillan, of this town; and Mrs. F. H. Eighmey of this village. One sister, Mrs. Herbert Parker, of this town, also survives. Rev. J. Scott Ebersole, of the Baptist church, conducted the funeral services on Monday afternoon and burial was in Woodlawn.
