Lula H."Lou" Lindsay,84, of Jacksonville died March 06, at Britthaven of Onslow. A funeral will be held at 11a.m. Monday at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville with the Rev. Hugh Mozingo officiating. Burial will follow at Onslow Memorial Park. She was a lifetime member of the ladies Auxiliary of the Fleet reserve Association, and was a crossing guard for Northwoods Elemetery School at the barn Street crossing for 17 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard $ Minnie Mattson. Survivors include her husband, Roger E. Lindsay, a son Bobby Schultz of California, a sister Rose Heaton of Colorado, four grandchildren & two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
