Myrtle Helen (Hill) Prater/Jenkins, 89, of Quinton passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at the Quinton Manor Nursing Home. Helen was born on April 7, 1924, in Featherston, Oklahoma the daughter of Samuel Overton and Clara Myrtle (Lotterdale) Hill. Thomas and Laura Carter raised her from birth. She graduated from Quinton High School. On March 2, 1945, Helen married Edwin G.C. Prater, JR. To this union three children were born. Edwin preceded Helen in death in August of 1983. On March 2, 1988, Helen married Charlie Jenkins. He preceded her in death in 1991. Helen worked as a seamstress. She is preceded in death by her parents, seven Hill brothers, one Hill sister and one Carter sister.
