Funeral Held For Adam Frickenstein Friday

Funeral services were conducted Friday morning at nine o'clock at St. Ludger Catholic Church for Adam Fricksenstein, age 71, who passed away May 15 at Norfolk. The Very Rev. Joseph B. Falke, pastor, officiated. Burial was in St. Ludger cemetery.

Adam Frickenstein was born in Germany in 1878 and came to America at the age of 11 with his mother, three sisters and two brothers, settling at West Point.

He was united in marriage Feb. 21, 1905 to Theresia Krienert of Monterey. To this union seven children were born, all of whom survive.

After their marriage, they made their home on a farm near West Point and in 1907 moved to Creighton, where they lived for five years. They moved to a farm four and one half miles south of Creighton, where they lived until his death.

Mr. Frickenstein had been in failing health for the past nine months.

Surviving are his wife; seven children, Henry, Mrs. Ted (Anna) Fletcher, Mrs. John (Matilda) Johnson and Miss Mary Frickenstein of Los Angeles, Calif., Miss Theresa Frickenstein of West Point, Joseph of Creighton and Ferdinand at home and four grandchildren.
