Pratt, KS - Frank J. Reif, 99, died July 26, 2013 at Hilltop Manor in Cunningham, KS. He was born October 1, 1913 in Claflin, KS to Alois and Anna (Hitschmann) Reif. On August 16, 1939 he married Salome M. Moeder at Odin, KS. She preceded him in death on January 15, 2000.
He was a Farmer and a member of the St. Leo Catholic Church, St. Leo, KS and Knights of Columbus.
Other survivors include five sons, Melvin (Glenna) Reif of Kiowa, KS, Kenny (Lynn) Reif of Lawrence, KS, Mike (Terri) Reif of Pratt, KS, Jerry Reif of Seattle, WA, Randy (Georgia) Reif of Cairo, KS, two daughters, Connie Voss of Pratt, Marlene (Dwayne) Kruckenberg of Kiowa, KS, a sister, Jean Moeder of Great Bend, KS, 17 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Salome, a son, Ed, 3 brothers, Msgr. Steve, Tony, Lawrence, two sisters, Irene Polzin and Emma Prosser.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Rd., Pratt, KS 67124. Vigil service will be 7:00 p.m., Monday at St. Leo Catholic Church, St. Leo, KS. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at St. Leo Catholic Church, St. Leo, KS with Reverend Floyd McKinney presiding. Burial will be in the St. Leo Catholic Cemetery, St. Leo, KS.
