ADOLPH H WAHLEN of 1309 Park Ave., West Bend, passed away Saturday at St. Joseph’s Community Hospital at the age of 69.

He was born June 2, 1905 in the Town of Wayne, Washington Co., where he grew up. After his marriage to Marie Oswald at St. Mary’s Church in the town of Richfield on June 26, 1929 they settled on the Wahlen homestead and lived there until October of 1963 when they came to the City of West Bend and lived here up to the time of his death.

His wife survives in addition to one daughter, Corrine (Donald) Mlodzik, Kewaskum; two grandchildren, James and Gary; one sister, Alvina ( Edward) Westermann, Kewaskum, and other relatives and friends.

He was a member of the Holy name Society of St. Kilian’s Church in the Town of Ashford and the Apostolate of Suffering.

Visitation will be at the Schmidt Funeral Home, 629 Cedar St., West Bend, after 4 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home and 2 p.m. at Holy Angels Church. Fr. Warren J. Schmitt, Fr. Ronald J. Gramza and Msgr. Rayner G. Hausmann will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Angels Cemetery.

Prayer vigil will be at the funeral home at 8:30 p.m. on Monday.
