Stella and Oral knew each other from church when they were children. They grew up together, their families doing things together. They married in 1919. She worked in a dress shop, was a day care provider and made crafts. She gave most, if not all, of her grandchildren sock monkeys, topsy turvy dolls or some sort of other craft item as well as made crafts, mainly dolls, and sold them to others.
