Belmont - Flonnie Ford, 80, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 1995, at the Red Bay, Alabama Hospital. She worked for Dr. Walker Dempsey and Dr. Hollis Keel at the Red Bay Medical Clinic and also at the Red Bay Hospital, retiring as a licensed practical nurse and E.M.T. She was a member of The Belmont Methodist Church.
Services were held at the Belmont Methodist Church with Bro. Ronnie Goodwin officiating. Burial was at the Joel Cemetery. Senter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, Ed Ford; two daughters, Dean Pierce and her husband, Benford, of Belmont and Betty Alldread and her husband, Joe, of Tupelo; one son, Sonny Ables and his wife, Nell, of Ypsilanti, Michigan; two step-daughters, Donna Roberts and her husband, Ronald, of Fulton, and Willie Moore and her husband, Harold, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; one stepson, Murl Ford of Tupelo; two sisters, Lavelle Hawkins and Florine Ables of Dennis and Floyd Maxwell and Flaves Maxwell, of Zion, Illinois; eight grandchildren, seven stepgrandchildren, five great-grandchildren and thirteen step-grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her first husband, Elmer Ables; her parents, Lillian and Delia Maxwell; one brother, Freeman Maxwell; and one sister, Letra Wright.
Pallbearers were Joey Pierce, Tim Pierce, Craig Pierce, Ron Ford, Ronald Roberts and Garry Maxwell.
