Husband of Annabell Leffler Turner.

James William Turner, age 89, of Reynoldsburg passed away Monday November 20, 2006 at home as he wished. Born November 29, 1916 to William James Turner and Amelia Schorn Turner of Columbus, Ohio. He joined the Civilian Conservation Camp program and went to Glacier Park, Montana and Kings Canyon, California. He retired after 37 years of service to the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Annabell Leffler Turner, daughter Donna Jean (Richard) Potts of Reynoldsburg; grandchildren; Pam (Tom) Little of Plymouth, MI; Michael (Chantele) Potts of Naples, FL; Steve (Karen) Potts of California; great-granchildren; Michelle Potts; Jeff and Angela Little; Bryant, Cambre and Hunter Potts; sister; Alma Bolton; many nieces and nephews. He belonged to the C & O Veterans Club. Preceded in death by sisters; Mrs. Irene (Jack) Mills and Mrs. Helen (Henry) Gartner. Friends received Friday 2-4 and 6-8pm at the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI Funeral Home, 1068 S. High St., where services will be held Saturday at 10 AM. Burial Harrison Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice.
