Mrs. Alice Kelly, 96, Rt. 3, Greenville, died at 6:15 p.m. Thursday in a local hospital.

Funeral arrangements are pending with Sorrells & Sons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Kelly was born July 22, 1867, in Blufton, Ark., the daughter of William and Emily Gault Lofland. Mrs. Kelly moved to Rockwall County from Arkansas in 1906, then moved to Hunt County in 1920.

A member of the Kavanaugh Methodist Church, she married J.L. Kelly. Mr. Kelly, who was one of Hunt County's most prosperous and progressive farmers, died Nov. 17, 1953.

Survivors include three daughters, Miss Jewell Kelly, Miss Mazie Kelly and Miss Winnie Kelly, all of Greenville.

A son preceded her in death in 1929.

Funeral for Mrs. Alice Kelly, 96, Rt. 3, Greenville, who died Thursday in a Greenville hospital, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Sorrells & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. T.Lee Miller of Wichita Falls officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Kelly was born July 22, 1867, in Bluffton, Ark., the daughter of William and Emily Gault Lofland. Mrs. Kelley moved to Rockwall County from Arkansas in 1906, then moved to Hunt County in 1920.

A member of the Kavanaugh Methodist Church, she married J.L. Kelly. Mr. Kelly, who was one of Hunt County's most prosperous and progressive farmers, died Nov. 17, 1953.

Survivors include three daughters, Miss Jewell Kelly, Miss Mazie Kelly and Miss Winnie Kelly, all of Greenville.

A son preceded her in death in 1929.

Pallbearers will be Bennie Caughran, Elmer Caughren and Delwyn Caughran, all of Terrell, Albert Duncan, Austin Lewalling and Robert Chapman, all of Greenville.
