Sarah was born in England in 1850 to George Bowles and Sarah Hadaway, and had arrived in the United States by age 1.
At age 9, Sarah was living in Monroe, Kosciusko, Indiana, with her parents George and Sarah, and sibs George, Margaret, John and Alice.
By 1870, the family had moved to Ganges, Allegan, Michigan and sister Rosaline was added to the family. They remained there thru out most of their lives.
On 15 April, 1891, Sarah married William Earl Dailey, son of George W Dailey and Thankul Doud, in Ganges, Allegan, Michigan. They were married by Charles B Whitaker, Clergyman, and the marriage was witnessed by W D and Emma McCarty. Sarah was 13 years older than William.
Daughter Enola was born on 5 January, 1895 in Ganges.
On 9 April, 1909, William Earl Dailey died in Ganges.
On the 1910 census, Sarah is listed as a widow, living with 15 year old daughter Enola.
On 1 Nov, 1913, Sarah Bowles Dailey married John Whitefield Pullen, son of William Pullen and Nancy Field, in Allegan, Allegan, Michigan.
John was a widower, father of 4 children: Walter, Kate, John and Parley. His wife Sarah "Satie" Main Pullen had died in 1900.
By 1930, John and Sarah had moved to Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo, Michigan, where John died in 1936.
Sarah died 13 December, 1937, in Trowbridge, Allegan, Michigan.
