Richmond Hill, GA (formerly of Sylvania) – Neda Saxon Williams Looper, age 83, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2012, at Bryan Co. Nursing Home in Richmond Hill, GA. She was born in Screven County, was a homemaker and she was a member of Bay Branch Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Talmadge Looper; Parents: Frank Brown & Lillian Chance Saxon; First Husband: Cecil H. Williams; Son: Jan K. Williams.
Survivors: Daughters and Son-In-Law: Sue Ellen Williams Walters of Savannah and Ann & Don Wessel of Dothan, AL; Son and Daughter-In-Law: Jerry & Carolyn Williams of Savannah; Sisters and Brother-In-Law: Gladys S. Pate of Waynesboro, Frankie S. Adams of Savannah, Myra S. Herrington and Jean S. & Lanier Davenport, all of Perkins; Brothers and Sister-In-Law: Alex Saxon of Sylvania and Carroll & Mary Ann Saxon of Perkins; 7 Grandchildren: Keith Walters, Patrick (Beth) Williams, Lydia (Tim) Carlton, Sean (Suzannah) Wessel, Amy (Sean) Darby, Tracy (Jamie) Williams and Mike Williams; 13 Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation: Monday, April 2, 2012 at 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.
Funeral services: Monday, April 2, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Chapel with Father Jeff Baker officiating. Burial at Bay Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Nephews.
Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
