Mrs. Grace Hadcox Eychnaur died Wednesday, July 16, in Cooperstown following a long period of declining health. She was born in West Winfield on October 3, 1871, daughter of Hiram M. and Susan Hull Hadcox. She attended local schools and in September 1903 was married to Richard Eychnaur in the Paines Hollow Church by the Rev. M. L. Baker. Mr. Eychnaur died about 22 years ago. For the past fifteen years she has lived with her brother Wayne Hadcox. She was a member of the Universalist church in this village until its dissolution [by 1930] and later of the Presbyterian church.
Surviving is one son, Leon Eychnaur of Saratoga Springs, one brother, Wayne Eychnaur of Richfield Springs, and one sister, Mrs. James Hollum of Mohawk RD.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 18 at the McGrath Funeral Home at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Horace del Pozzo will officiate and burial will be in the family plot at the Columbia Church Cemetery at Columbia Center.
