Martha Matilda Ertel, age 87 of Osgood, IN passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013 at her home. She was born June 7, 1926 in New Alsace, IN the daughter of Jacob J. & Emma Hartman Huff . She married Stanley Louis Ertel November 20, 1948 & he preceded her in death.
Martha had been a homemaker & also had been actively involved with her husband in running their farms. She was a member of St. Maurice Catholic Church in Napoleon, IN . Martha had a passion for the 4-H program that her family had been very involved with over the years. She was proud of the fact that she herself had been the Dearborn County Fair Queen in 1946. Flowers & gardening were also her hobbies!
