From Kathie:

"After a lingering illness of about 21 weeks Miss Cora Esther Wren, age 16 years three months and nine days, passed from this life on Sept. 1st, 1912, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Wren, at Ellsinore. The remains were laid to rest in the Henson Cemetery.

Esther was a young lady who loved, and was beloved by all her friends and associates, altho she was not a church member, she always wanted to do right, and it was her desire that she might be spared here in order that she might teach the right ways. However, when she realized that she was going to die she said, "If it is God's will, I am ready." And altho she had suffered much during her long illness, the end came peacefully.

She leaves besides her relatives, a host of friends to mourn her departure. Her parents desire to express their thanks to the people of Ellsinore for the kindness shown them during their sad bereavement." A FRIEND.
