AMERICAN FORK - Funeral services for Arland Clive Curtis. 69. who died Friday. Dec 26. 1980, will be Tuesday at 11 am. at the American Fork 11th Ward Chapel. 380 S 300 E
He was born April 7, 1911 in Aurora, Sevier County, to Wallace and Amanda Watson Curtis. He married Mae Chedester, July 3, 1935 in the Manti LDS Temple.
He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the US Coast Guard. He was a heavy machine equipment operator and a retired Geneva Steel employee. He was a high priest in the LDS Church and active in American Fork and Curtis Orem riding clubs.
His survivors are his wife: three brothers and five sisters. DeVere Curtis. Nolan Curtis. Mrs. Norman (Verla) Lowe, all of Green River; Mrs. Ren ( Arvilla) Ward, Everett, Wash.; Cyrill Curtis, Spokane, Wash., Mrs. Thelma Anderson, West Valley City; Mrs H B (Wynoa) Wilson. Clearfield and Mrs. Darrel L (Ciella) Ross, Provo.
Friends may call at the Anderson and Sons Mortuary, tonight from 7 to 9 o'clock and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Burial will be at the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
