Lloyd Thompson, 88, passed away July 22, 2013 in Tremonton, UT. Lloyd was born January 10, 1925 to Albert and Ella Thompson in Tremonton, UT. He Married Sharyl Anderson on August 28, 1949 in Bear River City, UT. They were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple on May 27, 1964.

Lloyd was born in Tremonton, raised in Elwood and settled in Garland. He attended Bear River High School , Utah State University and Weber Tech where he obtained his Journeyman Plumbers License.

He worked for various companies in the Ogden area as a journeymen plumber for many years. He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1942-1946. He achieved the level of aviation machine mate 3rd class.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held many callings in the church and also served as a Garland City Councilman.

Lloyd is survived by his wife Sharyl; Sons Brandt (Bethann), Ray (Bev), Brian (Marita), & Randall (Teresa) Thompson; Daughter Janele (Doug) Green and two sisters Chloe Ellis & Merle Jean Gardner.

He was preceded in death by six brothers and eight sisters.
