Ada M. Peterson, 58, a lifelong resident of the Lewiston area, died at 2:38 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital of a heart condition.
Mrs. Peterson was the wife of Gerald Peterson and lived at 325 Preston Ave.
During World War II, Mrs. Peterson worked as a welder in the shipyards of Portland. She also had been employed as a waitress at several Lewiston restaurants.
She was born at Spalding May 5, 1923, to Louie and Maude Bolen.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Peterson is survived by a son, James Howerton of North Bend, Wash; her mother, Maude Bolen of Lewiston; four sisters, Florence Goucher, Juanita Gamet, and Kitty Gamet, all of Clarkston; Arthur Bolen of Lewiston; Clarence Bolen of Clarkston; Arthur Bolen of Lapwai, and Gail Bolen of Los Angeles and four grandchildren.
A daughter preceded her in death.
