Clyde had his first date with Bessie Prindle on January 28, 1912. They went down to the lake and saw Mr. Sandt and his Flying Machine. They married on June 26, 1912, and had five children together.
He retired after 30 years of employment at General Electric (foreman) and later worked at the Marine National bank for five years. He was a member of the GE Quarter Century club.
Clyde was the Henderson Family Historian, keeping diaries and a detailed Family History Journal, along with other records pertaining to the Henderson, Hammond, Addison, Lathrop and other family members, as well as friends, co-workers and neighbors in the Erie, Pennsylvania area.
