Born at Barronett, son of Matt and Lena Arnes. Passed away Thursday at the age of 51 yr 1 mo 19 da.
Employed as a carpenter at American Steel and Wire, Morgan Park, for 22 years and retired last July because of ill health. he was a member of the Local 1028 Club and the Good Fellowship Club. He attended the United Protestant Church in Duluth and was a member of Barronett Luthern Church.
He married Myrtle Johnson, 26 Jan 1942, to this union one daughter was born.
Survivors: wife and daughter Verdine of Duluth; three brothers, Melvin, Barney and Sidney; six sisters, Mrs. A.J. Gallop, Ruth Uehlin, Mable Pride, Mrs. Clifford Peterson, Mrs K.A. Winchell and Mrs. P.W. Lampson; several neices and nephews.
