Mr. Lowe died Saturday, April 6, 1996 in the Cookeville General Hospital.
A native of Putnam County, he was born August 12, 1920 to the late Earl and Ocia Boyd Lowe. He served as an airplane mechanic with Davis Mothen in Tucson, AZ, was a correction officer with the Joliet, Nashville, Tuscan Prison Systems, was a member of Boma Church of God, was an Army Veteran of WWII and a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
His family includes his wife, Margaret Saunders Lowe of Boma; one son Gerald Lowe of Tucson, AZ; one daughter Wanda Mae Weppler of Tucson, AZ; one stepdaughter Joy Rawson of Stafford, AZ; two brothers, Solon Lowe of Boma and Jasper D. "Jim" Lowe of Cookeville; and 11 grandchildren and 8 greatgrandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Opal Lowe Maynard; and four brothers, James Arvel, Julius, Virgil and Arden Lowe.
