Jesus Salinas Chavez 52, of Sabinal died Sept. 3, 1992, at Uvalde Memorial Hospital.
Chavez was born in Sabinal Feb. 7, 1940. On June 23, 1986, he married Maria Teresa Aviles in Sabinal.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Teresa Chavez of Sabinal; two daughters, Cecilia Chavez and Maria Alejandro, both of Sabinal; five brothers, Pedro Chavez, Francisco Chavez, Rudolfo Arriola and raul Arriola, all of Sabinal, and Jose Chavez of Rupert, Idaho; two sisters, Guadalupe Musquiz of Odessa and Ramona Martinez of California.
Services were held at 4 pm Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sabinal. Interment was in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery.
Arrangements made by Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
