Sophie Jimenez, age 89, of San Antonio, died Friday, July 26, 2013.

Sophie was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband, A. "Jimmy" Jimenez; daughters, Norma Jean and husband, Jimmie Wood, and Joyce Lynn Cheuvront; grandchildren, Jennifer and Lyle McDonald, Randy and Francine Chapa and Brian Cheuvront; great-grandchild, Sophia McDonald; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family would like to give special thanks to the Heights on Huebner and their staff for the loving care they gave her. Also thanks to the Odyssey Hospice for their help and assistance, and special thanks to Dr. Stephen Cohen.
