Miss Rebecca J. Comer, 68, died Thursday, May 30, at the home of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Foster Comer, of R.D. Woodbine, Pa. Death followed a lengthy illness.
The deceased, who had resided in the Woodbine area for the past 16 years, is survived by two brothers, Messrs. Foster Comer, of Woodbine, and Lester Comer, of Whiteford. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday, June 2, from the Harkins Funeral Home, Delta, with Rev. Blane E. Vannoy and Rev. Dewey Rhodes officiating.
Burial was in Mt. Nebo Cemetery, near Delta, and Messrs. Roy E. Parks, Roy E. Parks, Jr., Worley Comer, L. K. Stone, Jr., Jady B. Stone, and Preston A. Torbert were pallbearers.
